Bloodborne Pathogens are micro-organisms in the human blood that can cause disease. When working in a youth camp, it is important to understand what bloodborne pathogens are so you can take measures to prevent their transmission. This course trains staff in use of the Maryland Communicable Disease Summary, when to report conditions to the local health department, how to sanitize surfaces, when children must be isolated, and much more.
